Morning Thought: The strength of a soldier is discovered in the heat of the battle. What matters is not the shape of a soldier’s muscles, but the size of a soldier’s heart. The heart is actually the most important muscle of the body. For us who believe, our strength comes from the Lord. And it’s paradoxically found in our weakness. When we feel our weakest, that’s when real strength kicks in—the strength of Christ within. Draw from his strength today. “And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.’ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me” (2 Corinthians 12:9, NASB).
