The Knead (Video)

Do you ever wonder why God repeats himself? Check out today’s morning thought video now HD on YouTube. Feel free to share.

The Knead

Morning Thought: Have you ever wondered why God repeats himself? He is like a baker kneading dough. He continually presses, stretches, folds and rotates the dough so that it becomes elastic, soft and smooth. You are his dough and he’s working his Kingdom life and power within you. As you let him work, people will be drawn to you like fresh bread out of the oven. “Another story. ‘God’s kingdom is like yeast that a woman works into the dough for dozens of loaves of barley bread—and waits while the dough rises’” (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:33‬, MSG‬‬).

The God of the Ridiculous

Morning Thought: Do you know God may call you to do ridiculous things? He called Gideon with only three hundred men to blow the trumpet, declaring war on an army that was as numerous as the sand on the seashore. Gideon blew his shofar in faith and hope that the battle is the Lord’s and God did not disappoint him. You also must step out in faith and hope each day. Yes, the hordes of hell are against you, even your flesh is your enemy. But the good news is that you begin everyday guaranteed the victory in Jesus. If God is for you who can be against you? “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place” (2 Corinthians‬ ‭2:14,‬ ‭NASB‬‬).

Two Kinds of Confidence

Morning Thought: Did you know the same Hebrew word (ksl) that spells ‘foolish’ also spells ‘confidence’? In Scripture there’s two kinds of confidence. There’s the false confidence of a con-man. He walks proudly, but doesn’t realise he’s about to fall into a ditch. Then, there’s the confidence of someone who trusts God and walks in the Lord’s ways. Be the one who puts your confidence in the all-knowing and all-powerful God, rather than the fool who puts confidence in himself. “Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him” (Proverbs‬ ‭26:12,‬ ‭NASB‬‬).
