Invasion of Light

Discovering God's Glory One Day at a Time

Month: December, 2015

What Shall I Do?

Evening Thought: “What shall I do, Lord?” (Acts 22:10). Paul’s inquiry at the inception of his salvation is a great example to us. In every time and season ask, “Lord, what do you want me to do?” The answer will most likely be simple, another step in your journey. By continually submitting your life to God, Jesus will truly be your Lord––not just in word, but in truth.

Long for His Living Voice

Morning Thought: Like David, long to hear God’s living voice. God’s voice guides and provides. It steers you away from the pit that the world and the enemy have setup for your fall. “To you, O Lord, I call; My rock, do not be deaf to me, for if you are silent to me, I will become like those who go down to the pit” (Ps 28:1, NASB).

Shout for Joy: Reflecting on 2015

Today at church, we reflected on 2015 and looked forward to 2016. There was a fresh wind of the Holy Spirit present and exuberant joy. Many people came forward at the end of the message to say thanks for what God did in their lives and for one another. Here’s the message I shared. Please feel free to share.

Get Ready!

Morning Thought: Get ready for your blessing! “Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life” (Psalms‬ ‭23:6‬a, ‭NASB‬‬).

Morning Thought: God does not disappoint. “To You they cried out and were delivered; In You they trusted and were not disappointed” (Psalms‬ ‭22:5‬, ‭NASB‬‬).

Your Healer

Morning Thought: The Lord is your healer––he heals you inside and out. This week let him bring his restoration in your life. “’For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah‬ ‭30:17‬a, ‭NASB‬‬).

Red Hot

A beautiful day with God’s people. This weekend we bought twenty new chairs to cater for the new growth in our church. That’s a big deal for us because most of the disciples we made over the years we sent to other locations and churches. Here’s today’s message all about God’s red hot love for you. You can download the audio and notes. Feel free to share.
