Hollywood vs. God

Morning Thought: Patience is one of the chief characteristics of love. To be patient means to suffer long—to not give up on someone even though it’s painful. Jesus shows what real love is through the cross. Though his creation bitterly rejects him, he dies for them. Hollywood does not understand love. Even psychologists and counsellors are often in the dark. If you’re going to know love, you’ll have to go to God. He himself is love. His love perseveres—it’s unfailing and sacrificial. He wants you to experience his love today. “Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant” (‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13:4‬, NASB‬‬).
