Another Awakening

Morning Thought: Our hope is not based on laws and public opinion. God has already given us his light in Jesus; the answer has already come. Our responsibility is to awake, arise and shine. In the 1700s there was a great awakening in both England and the young colonies of America. John & Charles Wesley sparked a revolution in the church and changed England itself. They, along with many others, recovered the Good News and preached it with authority. Today, I’m praying for another great awakening, but this time for Australia and the Nations. “Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the LORD rises upon your ou and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn” (‭Isaiah‬ ‭60:1-3,‬ ‭NIV‬‬).
