A Samuel Generation

New York Morning Thought: The Father loves every generation. But, if he can’t get through to the older generation he will speak to the younger. Eli was ministering to God, but he stopped hearing him. That’s a dangerous place to be. The Lord passed over him to speak to a boy, Samuel. Today, a Samuel-like generation is arising who hear the voice of the living God. A quiet, yet clear revolution is springing up from obscurity. Samuels are replacing Elis, Davids are uprooting Sauls, and Jesus-like ministries are overturning Pharisaical powers. “It happened at that time as Eli was lying down in his place (now his eyesight had begun to grow dim and he could not see well)…that the Lord called Samuel” (1 Sam. 3:2, 4, NASB).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from eight to twenty-one. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
