New York Morning Thought: Many want to grow in their relationship with God, but don’t know how. The way is through Biblical meditation; not the emptying of your mind, but filling it with God’s Word. Meditation grows the roots of your life into the fertile soil of Scripture. It infuses every branch of your life––family, friends, work and study––with God’s life. It makes you flourish with fruitfulness. Meditation is powerful because God’s Word is packed with nutrients, nourishing your soul with God’s living voice. It expands your mind, renews your heart and revives your soul. “But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers” (Psalms 1:2-3, NASB).
Ohhh this is wonderful! So many Christians are spooked by the word “meditation.”
