What’s Inside?

Morning Thought: It’s what’s on the inside that counts. You can dress yourself up in the most stylish clothes and present yourself with sheer confidence to the world, but hide darkness within. The good news is that Jesus’ blood washes the inside of the cup, not just the outside. Let God see you for who you really are—then he can cleanse the thoughts and motivations of your heart. Here’s gentle Jesus telling it as it is: “You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭23:25b-26‬, ‭NIV‬‬).
