Morning Thought: When the Lord is your shepherd, he pursues you with his goodness and love. He leaps over whatever obstacles that are in his way just to bless you. The Hebrew word usually translated as ‘follow’ is more graphic than a casual stroll. Instead, it’s a passionate pursuit of you. “Surely, goodness and lovingkindness will pursue me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in Yahweh’s house till the end of days” (Ps 23:6, my translation).
