Hearing God’s Voice

Morning Thought: There are three small parts of Samuel’s humble prayer that teach us how to hear God’s voice. He says, “Speak, for your servant is listening” (1 Sam. 3:10b). First, desire and ask God to speak to you. Second, be a humble servant and remove rebellion from your heart. Last, listen carefully and closely. Hearing God’s voice is not for the casual listener, but for those who take the Lord’s words seriously.
