Destiny

Morning Thought: Your destiny is not determined by how people treat you. Whether they treat you good or bad does not affect God’s plan. They threw Jospeh into a pit (Gen. 37:24). But this just brought him to the place where he would soon reign. They wanted to make Jesus king. But Jesus knew it wasn’t the Father’s time and withdrew (John 6:15). God is Lord over your destiny. And if God is with you, who can be against you? Or as Paul said, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?…Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?” (‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:31, 35‬, ‭NASB‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
