Morning Thought: All of my life is wrapped up with one thing—my doing and saying, my arising and resting, my going and staying—I deeply desire to seek God and sit in his house, learning and soaking in his Presence and Word. I want to behold his sweet plesantness and delightful beauty. In his temple, I long to search out every detail of who he is. To both see and reflect him—that’s my desire. “One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple” (Psalm 27:4, NIV).
