Morning Thought: A stone that is surrounded stays in place. Think about a stone wall. If a stone isn’t surrounded, it can easily fall and crack into pieces. But if a stone has other stones above, besides and beneath it, the stone stays secure. You are a living stone in God’s house. Have you let the Master Builder, Jesus, surround you with other living stones? Strength comes when your life is surrounded on every side with other rock-solid saints. “And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in the sight of God, you also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ” (1 Peter 2:4-5, NASB).
