Innocent Blood

Morning Thought: Christians have a great hope that every baby that dies before their time is taken up into the hands of the Father, growing in the safety and love of heaven (Matt 18:1-14, etc.). However, God hates the shedding of innocent blood (Prov. 6:16-19). When I was young, I was strongly in favour of abortion. I fiercely argued against pro-life Christians, even as a young Christian myself. Then, I discovered how abortions were performed. Innocent blood was shed and I was horrified. I soon understood things from God’s perspective. The Lord will hold every politician and doctor who attacks innocent children accountable. Yet, God is merciful. All who humbly turn to him will be washed of blood-stained hands. Why? Because Jesus’ innocent hands were stained with blood for you. Jesus said, “Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭18:10-11,‬ ‭NKJV‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
