Expansion

Morning Thought: The Father loves to expand his children. On the first day of creation God said, “Let there be light” (Gen. 1:3). On the second day we read: “And God said, ‘Let there be an expanse…’” (Gen.1:6). If you are engaging God’s Word, your heart will ever be expanding, even your mind will be stretched. There will be growth; first internal, and then external. But if you find you are not expanding—and the pain of being stretched is not evident inside you—get back to God’s Word. God’s voice is so full of power that it will expand your spirit and soul so that you can be filled with more of him.
