Morning Thought: In the morning as you put on your shoes, remember this: God wants you to stand and walk in his peace. In Hebrew the word for ‘peace’ is shalom. It means wholeness, completeness, wellness and prosperity. Living in God’s shalom means there’s rhythm and balance in your life. This shalom gives you deep peace and fulfillment. It’s found when you stand on God and his Word. Remember, Jesus died and rose again to purchase these shalom shoes for you. Don’t leave them in the closet; wear them with joy. Listen to Paul: “Stand firm then…with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of PEACE” (Ephesians 6:14-15, NIV, emphasis mine).
