A New Heart

Morning Thought: I often hear believers say their hearts are wicked and deceitful because of Jeremiah 17:9. But if you’re saved, you’ve been given a new and clean heart. God has taken away your heart of stone and given you a soft heart. Yes, your old life was sinful, but the new life the Father has given you is holy. So guard your heart like treasure. It has the ability to hear from God. It also has a wealth of treasure hidden in it. Listen to Ezekiel: “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws”(‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭36:26-27‬, NIV‬‬).
