Morning Thought: Yesterday we had a dear missionary share at our church. He mentioned that the religious culture he was sent to was against questions. They taught that if a leader says something strange, you dare not question it, just believe. This is very different from Jesus and Scripture. Jesus asked many questions and received many questions. Even the Psalms question God. Since God is Almighty and truth, he’s not afraid of questions. His truth always triumphs. Ask questions so your faith can grow in wisdom and understanding. Let your questions be a quest to know God more. “Then, after three days they found Him [Jesus] in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions” (Luke 2:46, NASB).
