On a Quest

Morning Thought: Yesterday we had a dear missionary share at our church. He mentioned that the religious culture he was sent to was against questions. They taught that if a leader says something strange, you dare not question it, just believe. This is very different from Jesus and Scripture. Jesus asked many questions and received many questions. Even the Psalms question God. Since God is Almighty and truth, he’s not afraid of questions. His truth always triumphs. Ask questions so your faith can grow in wisdom and understanding. Let your questions be a quest to know God more. “Then, after three days they found Him [Jesus] in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭2:46‬, NASB‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
