Deliverance from Self-Rejection

Morning Thought: Self-rejection often masks itself as spirituality. It pretends to be humility, but in reality it is very harmful. After Jesus’ transfiguration he enncountered a boy afflicted by a demon. The demon caused the boy to hate himself, it even tried to make the boy throw himself in the fire. Jesus didn’t put up with this spirit of self-hatred, instead he cast the demon out. Today, let Jesus drive self-rejection from you. God’s thoughts toward you are good and he wants your mind filled with his love and acceptance. “After crying out and throwing him into terrible convulsions, it came out; and the boy became so much like a corpse that most of them said, ‘He is dead!’ But Jesus took him by the hand and raised him; and he got up” ‭‭(Mark‬ ‭9:26-27,‬ ‭NASB‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
