A Nest

Morning Thought: The Psalmist enters the house of God and is captured by what he sees—a nest. A swallow with her young make their home in the crevices of the altar. The priests take pity on the tiny creatures and let them be. How about me? Is my home there? Am I living in the place of God’s provision? Is everything I am and have worship to the King? Am I finding life—even my home—on the altar? “The bird also has found a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, My King and my God. How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Selah” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭84:3-4,‬ ‭NASB‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
