Morning Thought: The Psalmist enters the house of God and is captured by what he sees—a nest. A swallow with her young make their home in the crevices of the altar. The priests take pity on the tiny creatures and let them be. How about me? Is my home there? Am I living in the place of God’s provision? Is everything I am and have worship to the King? Am I finding life—even my home—on the altar? “The bird also has found a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even Your altars, O LORD of hosts, My King and my God. How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You. Selah” (Psalms 84:3-4, NASB).
