The Missiles of God’s Army

Morning Thought: Prayer is like the arrows, spears and missiles of God’s army. Just like an army first sends its air force, God begins his battle against darkness through prayer. And in the same way that an army wouldn’t fire just one missile and give up, we also cannot quit with merely one prayer. Jesus calls us to ask and keep asking until we see his will established on earth. Target whatever is against God’s Kingdom and keep firing until it’s brought down. “This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him” (‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:14-15‬, NASB‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
