Morning Thought: On the weekend I walked into a cafe and two precious women of faith said, “Are you a pastor?” I didn’t know them, but they knew me from the internet. We had a very encouraging conversation, and in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the cafe, they offered to pray for me. We prayed and I felt strengthened. Over the years I have had many divine appointments. That’s even how I met Anna, my wife. There were about a thousand students in our Bible School and visitors were normally not allowed, but she ‘randomly’ sat next to me. She wasn’t ‘meant’ to be there; she was visiting from Australia. When you walk in faith, God orders your steps, even if you don’t realise it. It could be that God has some surprise for you today. “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives” (Psalms 37:23, NLT).
