Rough Places

Morning Thought: I just finished my morning devotions and thought God had finished speaking to me. Then I sat down and he spoke to me in a thunderous whisper, “I am making the rough places smooth.” Immediately, I looked for the verse and found it was God’s promise to Cyrus: “I will go before you and make the rough places smooth” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭45:2‬a, NASB‬). Are there rough places in your life? These are the places your Father is running to. He actively seeks to make these places smooth, straight and level. Today, trust that the Lord is going before you.
