Running Out of Charge?

Morning Thought: Have you ever had this experience? You’ve put your phone on the charger, and then a few hours later you check it, and the battery is still depleted. You thought it was charging, but when you double checked, the phone wasn’t correctly plugged in. This has happened to me quite a few times this past week. I’m reminded that we really need to be connected to Christ in order to be recharged. You may think you’re connected, but if power isn’t flowing into you, there’s something wrong. Today, get rid of anything blocking your true connection to Christ. “Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can’t bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can’t bear fruit unless you are joined with me” (‭‭John‬ ‭15:4‬, MSG‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from eight to twenty-one. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
