Morning Thought: Deal swiftly and strongly with sin in your heart. If you don’t, the thing will spread, affecting and infecting others. Like Phinehas, pierce it straight through with prayer and the power of God’s Word. Especially get rid of offence towards brothers and sisters. Little things can grow big in no time. Today, may you have eyes to see and strength to act against all that would keep you from the fullness of the Father’s will. “When Phinehas son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, saw this, he left the assembly, took a spear in his hand and followed the Israelite into the tent. He drove the spear into both of them, right through the Israelite man and into the woman’s stomach. Then the plague against the Israelites was stopped” (Numbers‬ ‭25:7-8‬ ‭NIV‬‬).
