Lifting the Darkness

Morning Thought: There's one way to get rid of darkness. No amount of jumping up and down, or shouting and getting red-faced, will help. Shine a light and darkness flees. When David prayed—"Lift up the light of your countenance upon us, Lord"—he knew that the true source of light is God's face. When the Lord looks on you with joy the darkness leaps for cover. May the light of God's face shine on you today. May it put everything into perspective and give you joy unspeakable. He really lights up the room, and your life. “Many are saying, 'Who will show us any good?' Lift up the light of Your countenance upon us, O LORD!” (Psalms‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭NASB‬‬).
