On the Edge

Morning Thought: The internal battle is the biggest before the breakthrough. Remember the Israelites in the wilderness. God brought them to the edge of the Promised Land and commissioned them to take it. They were almost there, yet that’s when they fought with God the most. They were worse than a two year old having a tantrum. They grumbled, complained and wept. However, if they would have believed like Joshua and Caleb, they would have taken hold of God’s promise. Don’t listen to your feelings or emotions—listen to the Lord. “But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it” ‭‭(Numbers‬ ‭14:24‬, NIV‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
