On the Edge
Morning Thought: The internal battle is the biggest before the breakthrough. Remember the Israelites in the wilderness. God brought them to the edge of the Promised Land and commissioned them to take it. They were almost there, yet that’s when they fought with God the most. They were worse than a two year old having a tantrum. They grumbled, complained and wept. However, if they would have believed like Joshua and Caleb, they would have taken hold of God’s promise. Don’t listen to your feelings or emotions—listen to the Lord. “But because my servant Caleb has a different spirit and follows me wholeheartedly, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it” (Numbers 14:24, NIV).
