Morning Prayer

Morning Prayer: Jesus said, “I do nothing on my own initiative” (John 8:28). Father, today help me to do nothing from my own initiative. May you be the initiator of all I do and say. Jesus, let me be like you, totally dependent on the Father. Maturity in your Kingdom is not independence, but dependence on you. Teach me to do nothing, Father, unless it is your will and your Spirit is my motivation.
