Morning Thought: God doesn’t sit in a high tower out of touch with humanity. Everything he commands, he himself has done. Has he said, “Love your enemies”? He himself loved them enough to die for their sins. Has he said, “Humble yourself”? He also humbled himself by coming down from heaven to earth, giving his life as an atoning sacrifice for your sins. Jesus leads by example. He said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:19‬, NASB‬‬).
