Morning Thought: Be a daily encourager. Don’t wait till Sunday, encourage everyday. Encouraging words are like rain, softening the thirsty ground. Drought hardens, causing death; but rain revives, producing life. An encourager is like a cloud that gives hope to the desperate farmer. Be a cloud of hope and gather with other life-givers: that’s when the downpour happens. “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin” (Hebrews 3:13, NASB).
