The Downpour

Morning Thought: Be a daily encourager. Don’t wait till Sunday, encourage everyday. Encouraging words are like rain, softening the thirsty ground. Drought hardens, causing death; but rain revives, producing life. An encourager is like a cloud that gives hope to the desperate farmer. Be a cloud of hope and gather with other life-givers: that’s when the downpour happens. “But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭3:13‬, NASB‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
