The Knead

Morning Thought: Have you ever wondered why God repeats himself? He is like a baker kneading dough. He continually presses, stretches, folds and rotates the dough so that it becomes elastic, soft and smooth. You are his dough and he’s working his Kingdom life and power within you. As you let him work, people will be drawn to you like fresh bread out of the oven. “Another story. ‘God’s kingdom is like yeast that a woman works into the dough for dozens of loaves of barley bread—and waits while the dough rises’” (‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:33‬, MSG‬‬).
