The War Cry

Morning Thought: The grand finale of Joshua’s Jericho mission ended with a great shout. At their cry, Jericho’s walls fell flat. The climax of Jesus’ ministry on earth ended the same way. On the cross Jesus cried out with a loud voice and the walls of sin and death came crashing down. Today, lay hold of the spoils that Jesus won on that day. “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split” (Matthew‬ ‭27:50-51‬, NASB‬‬).
