God’s Secret Weapon

New York Morning Thought: The greatest miracle looked like no miracle. The cross seemed like defeat, but it was God’s ultimate secret weapon. Through the cross, Jesus destroyed the power of death, opening up the way of resurrection to all who believe. Do you believe? “But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God predestined before the ages to our glory; the wisdom which none of the rulers of this age has understood; for if they had understood it they would not have crucified the Lord of glory…And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross” (1 Cor.‬ ‭2:7-8‬, ‭NASB‬‬; ‭‭Col. ‭2:15‬, ‭NIV‬‬).
