Stay Close to Your Guide

Morning Thought: Like a snake, evil lies low, camouflaged in tall grass. Then, like lightning, it strikes at your heel, trying to poison every part of you. Keep your eyes open and stay far from your enemy, the devil. The Lord is your guide through the world’s wilderness. Stay close to Jesus and he will point out every hidden threat, leading you away from sin. “This, then, is how you should pray…lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one” (‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭9, 13‬ NIV).
