Safe or Broken

Morning Thought: In the Gospels many received miracles and wisdom from Jesus, but not many gave to him. The woman with the alabaster jar was different. She saw that he was worthy of her most precious treasure, a keepsake worth a year’s wages. She broke the sealed jar of fragrance and anointed Jesus with an anointing more valuable than David’s. Jesus also gave his most precious treasure for you – his blood. Will you give him your most precious treasure today? Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her” (‭Mark‬ ‭14‬:‭9‬ NIV).
