Guard Against Deceiving Spirits

Morning Thought: Deceiving spirits do not just try to mislead you about doctrine and Jesus. They also attempt to deceive you about people (1 John 4:1-6). Their goal is to poison your heart toward good people and allure you to those who look impressive but have impure hearts. Be on your guard. The Spirit of truth is in you to guide you. And the Word of truth has been given to keep you on track (John 17:17). “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth” ‭(John‬ ‭16‬:‭13a‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬).
