How the Word Works

Morning Thought: God’s Word is powerful. Through it, he created all things. Yet, his Word won’t benefit you unless you hear it with faith. Faith trusts that his Word is right and will accomplish what he says. Faith obeys because it believes that God’s way is faultless. Faith surrenders to the truth of the Father’s voice. The Father’s word works through faith because he desires relationship not automatons. “For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just as they also did; but the word they heard did not benefit them, because they were not united with those who listened with faith” ‭‭(Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭2,‬ ‭NASB2020‬‬).
