Pain is Like Coal

Morning Thought: Pain is like coal. It’s not very valuable in itself. Hold on to it and you’ll be left with dark stains. But, if you throw the coal of pain into the fire of prayer it will produce power. That’s how the old locomotives moved: coal + fire = steam/power. That’s also how you’ll move forward in God. Don’t waste your pain on complaining; convert it to power through prayer. “Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me” (Psalms 50:15, NASB).
