Morning Thought: There’s a battle for the hearts and souls of people. Don’t get distracted by the busyness and business of ordinary life. Live for a higher call: pleasing your heavenly commander. Paul exhorted Timothy, “Join me in the battle against evil—suffer along with me like a good warrior of Messiah Jesus. No one engaging in strategic warfare gets tied up with the busyness and business of ordinary life. Why? So that they may gladden the heart of their commander” (2 Tim. 2:3-4, IT).
