Morning Thought: God loves new beginnings. And this evening is Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the Jewish New Year, the fountainhead of the year 5781. Last year, many people were knocked down. But this year is a new start—a time to arise again. It’s a time to rebuild, restore and repent. It’s a time for us to remember all that God has taught us over the years. Our Father was preparing us for now. He is a God of wonders and he wants to show his wonders. Only believe. So here’s to a shanah tovah (a good year)! Let’s remember our God of awe and wonder: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1).
