Count Your Blessings

Morning Thought: Today, Anna and I celebrate 21 years of marriage. We praise God for keeping and sustaining us. He has blessed us with four beautiful children, a loving church, a passionate Bible School family and wonderful friends. On my daily walks there’s a new ‘chalk evangelist.’ She writes inspirational words and God-thoughts with chalk on the footpath. Yesterday, what stood out to me was the words: ‘Count your blessings.’ Yes, life is tragic, but amidst the pain are untold blessings for those who have eyes to see. “For You make him [the King; add your name too] most blessed forever; You make him joyful with gladness in Your presence” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭21:6‬, NASB‬‬).
