21 Years

Morning Thought: Today marks 21 years since God sent me to Australia. Australia was never in my sights until God moved in my heart in Pensacola. I would pray over the map of Brisbane and Australia, believing God to move mightily in this city and country. I never knew the battle would be so fierce, but I thank God for all those who have stood with us. I believe that through the prayers of God’s people, ancient strongholds are beginning to tumble, making way for God to do a new thing. Let’s continue to pray for our nation and God’s labourers within. “Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, they will raise up the former devastations; and they will repair the ruined cities, the desolations of many generations. Strangers will stand and pasture your flocks, and foreigners will be your farmers and your vinedressers” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭61:4-5‬, NASB‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
