The Lord Hovers

Morning Thought: Pesach (Passover) begins tonight and it’s the Biblical feast that makes all the other feasts possible. God prepares a table for his people in the presence of their enemies. Even though plagues abounded, Yahweh shelters his people. More than ever, we need to know the power of Passover. God covers, hovers and guards his people who apply the blood. The Lord’s hovering is what makes the passing over of the plague possible. Today, apply the blood and believe that the Father will shelter you from the storm. “Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will ‘pass over’ [pasocha, cover] it and will rescue it” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭31:5,‬ ‭NIV‬‬).
