Morning Thought: “But I at Yahweh will intently look, I will expectantly wait for the God of my salvation, my God will hear me” (Micah 7:7, personal translation). Micah is like a watchman looking at God in the dead of the night. The moral, social and spiritual surroundings of Jerusalem and Israel are dark. Even friends and family cannot be trusted. But there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. To look to him brings hope. We can expect help, deliverance and salvation from him.
