I Will Rise

Morning Thought: Have you been knocked down by life? Weakened by pain? Cast down by your own failings? I myself have been unwell lately, but I’m hanging on to this verse: “Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me” (‭‭Micah‬ ‭7:8,‬ ‭NASB).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from eight to twenty-one. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com).
