Guard Your Gates

Morning Thought: Your soul is like a garden and your five senses are the gates. Guard your eye-gate, ear-gate, mouth-gate, nose-gate and feel-gate. It’s through these gates the world and the enemy come to sow their seeds. But we have a greater seed to cultivate—the seed of God’s Word. God’s Word always bears good fruit. Listen to how the bridegroom describes the bride in Song of Songs: “A garden locked is my sister, my bride, a rock garden locked, a spring sealed up. Your shoots are an orchard of pomegranates with choice fruits, henna with nard plants” (SOS ‭4:12-13‬, NASB‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
