Morning Thought: You are important to your church. Every single person has a part to play. We are all members of Christ’s body. Yesterday, I saw a great example of this as our whole church worked together to celebrate 20 years of God’s faithfulness to us. Sometimes we think we’re not important; we assume that humility is putting ourselves down. Humility is not debasing yourself, but finding your base, your foundation, on Christ. “From him [Christ] the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work” (Ephesians 4:16, NIV).
