Understanding Dreams

Morning Thought: Lately, God has been giving a proliferation of dreams to our congregation. This is a good thing. But receiving a God-dream is not the end of the matter. It’s critical that you don’t assume the interpretation. Instead, ask the Lord, “What does this mean?” Dreams come without work, but you must seek the interpretation. Often, the message is for you, rather than others. The people you may see in your dream may represent something in your own life. Always seek wisdom and do not assume. “Then Daniel went to his house and informed his friends, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, about the matter, so that they might request compassion from the God of heaven concerning this mystery…” (Daniel 2:17-18a, NASB).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
