What it Means to Stand

Morning Thought: To stand for God means to stand against the schemes of the devil. We can’t stand for God if we don’t stand against the things that God opposes. And it’s important that we do this personally before politically. Let’s do personal spiritual warfare, overcoming the enemy in our private lives, before we start preaching to the world what to do. The personal battle always comes before the political battle. “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes” (‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:10-11‬ ‭NIV‬‬).
