Morning Thought: Through whose eyes are you seeing your Heavenly Father? You can see him through religion’s eyes, your culture’s eyes, your parent’s eyes, even your own eyes. But the only way to correctly see your Heavenly Father is through Jesus’ eyes. Jesus came from heaven to earth to show us the Father. In his story of the Prodigal Son, Jesus reveals to us a Father who longs for us to run into his arms. Today, come back to the Father’s embrace. “So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him” (Luke 15:20, NASB).
